Issac 1 Year Old

One year ago today I gave birth to my 3rd child. My little boy Isaac. How blessed we were to have a healthy 8lb 12oz. bundle of joy. I can't believe it has really been a year!!!!
And now we have our BIGGER one year old!!!! He started walking at 10 months, chipped his tooth at 11 months and stands at the fridge yelling "Cheese"!!! He is an absolute joy to have in our Family and I love watching him discover new things. Happy Birthday
Bubba Man
We love you!!!!!!!

Birthday/New Years Party

This is how the night began Taylor, Jared watching a movie while Taylor was trying to entertain Isaac in the front room while Daddy went to Video Only to purchase a new camcorder to record Isaac's B-day party since ours decided to die on Christmas morning.

We then proceeded to Isaac's favorite thing to do eat dinner. We had chips, veggies, and I even made homemade rolls to use for making the sandwiches. Mmmmm!!!! One of the kids thought Isaac needed a gun while eating hmm must have been Jared.

After dinner we had Cake and Ice cream and I made Isaac his own little cake to devour. I always call him Bubba Man so I thought it fitting to put on his cake.

And Costco made the BIG cake for everyone else. Seeing as I usually spend way to much money on Birthday cakes I decided to buy one from Costco and put my own finishing touches on. Way cheaper!!!!

Isaac dipped his fingers in a little bit and then

decided to go for a little more while sporting his Little Baby Oscar the Grouch, Big Bird and Elmo first birthday hat. The hat didn't stay on to long as we see

and then Taylor gave him a spoon and that seemed to speed things along. And the final outcome cake and frosting everywhere!!!! We then gave him a bath and on to opening of presents. I can say though this was the easiest child to clean up after a first birthday cake fiasco because of our home teacher who fixed our bathtub for us!!! It is great to finally have it drain like a whirlpool.
Isaac has mastered the art of opening presents. He did this at Christmas so he got some good practice in. His prefered method teeth.
He especially liked opening or more like getting deep in the bag to pull out things.
<>We had a really fun night we had friends and family over for dinner, cake, ice cream, company, movies and the Wii. For those that couldn't make it hope to see you some time soon. And Thanks to all for making his first birthday memorable now on to find my Pom-Pom's.

Christmas PM

Every Christmas evening we head to my Mom and Step dad's house for family, presents and the best thing PRIME RIB!!!!! Oh yes the best Christmas dinner anyone could ask for. Of course after dinner there is pie and since Isaac loves to eat he had to get him a slice of blackberry pie.
My Auntie Pam(my moms sister) looking festive by the fire.
Tyson(my oldest brother) and his wife Kerry.
Chad(my youngest brother) with his girlfriend Yasmeen.
And the the two youngest my sister Lindsay and Isaac.
My mom with 4 out of the 5 grand kids (hopefully Hannah will be there next year) we can all hope and pray.
And the picture of all pictures. All of my siblings together in order of age. The last time we had our picture taken was Thanksgiving of 2005.
Heather, Tyson, Justin, Chad and Lindsay

And the picture with us all and our Mommy.
When the night finally wound down we put all the kids in there Jammie's and had them go brush there teeth. I found Jared and Taylor along with there cousin Kai in the bathroom on the counter all brushing there teeth. Jared and Taylor were excited because Santa had left them new toothbrushes in there stockings. Spiderman and My Little Pony both sing to you when you brush. How fun.

Christmas afternoon

Christmas afternoon is always spent at my husbands parents along with his brother and wife and there two girls. Here they are minus Jon's brother( who didn't manage to get into any pictures) opening there presents and looking rather thrilled.Taylor posing for the picture as little girls always do.
Jared playing "Indiana Jones" with the whip and hat he got from NeNe and Papa. It makes sounds and even plays the theme song from the movie. I think I need to aspirin now.
Jon's stepbrother Derek and his girlfriend Candace. I told to smile like they love each other.
Isaac opening the present the good old fashioned way Teeth.
Isaac rocking in the rocking chair having a blast rocking back and forth.
Jared sitting on Papa's lap.
Once again the kids came out like bandits. My mother in laws family always sends gifts for the kids and they are so appreciated. Thanks to the Holders and Tommy and Cheryl.

Christmas AM

I love the look on the kids faces as they come down the stairs Christmas when we record with the camcorder but seeing as it gave up the ghost Christmas morning pictures will have to suffice. Jared looking at the Spiderman DVDs that were in his stocking.

Taylor excited about her finds in her stocking.

Isaac opening his stocking thinking about how he can get these packages open to eat.
Jared opening his present from "Santa" a shotgun and smaller gun with a holster!!! Oh boy was he thrilled.
Isaac walking around with his yogurt melts from his stocking trying to eat them.
Isaac opening his present he had so much fun unwrapping
and then vacuuming with his new toy. Now maybe he will leave mine alone.
Taylor opening her Cinderella perfume and
then on to the BIG present "Santa" dropped off for her. I love the reaction on her face, priceless.
He got her the Elmo Restaurant complete with dishes, food, working cash register, microphone to order the food, bell to ding for service and even a menu to order from that Isaac is trying to put back in the holder.
Jon decided to get me some DVDs and I am sooooo excited because he got me The Notebook but told me I can only watch it when he is not here. Funny ha ha. He also got me The Neverending Story. I love this movie. For him he got Get Smart on BLuRay and his 50" PLASMA TV. As well as the blinds for both of us in our front room.

Christmas Eve (part II)

The second part to Christmas Eve is always been at my Auntie Julie's house and as soon as we got to Shoreline Jared wanted to play in the snow and of course my cousin Cody accompanied him. The tradition of getting together on Christmas Eve has always been since before I can remember and it is even more fun now that I have children. My Auntie Cheri always loves Christmas time and she loves the cookies. Here is Taylor feeding her a Sugar Cookie. How precious!!!
Finally we get a picture with Santa and Taylor and she isn't screaming but cheesing.
Jon and I in my Aunt's living room Awwww how cute..

and then Mr. Isaac with my brother Justin helping my Auntie Cheri hold him.
All and all it was a good night lots of yummy food hanging with the family and the best part was on the way home all 3 kids fell asleep. Peace on earth

Christmas Eve (part I)

It is a Christmas Eve tradition since I can remember. Baking, rolling, making frosting and decorating sugar cookies and baking Sour Cream cookies. Mmmmmmmm The HUGE finished tray of cookies that I take to my Auntie Julie's house every Christmas Eve. I bake 50 sugar cookies and decorate them as well as about 30-40 Sour Cream cookies. I think now my back hurts. But I love this recipe because it was my Nanny's Sugar Cookie recipe as well as the Sour Cream recipe. I even used her red and green sprinkles from her kitchen. I always miss her so much this time of year because I used to help her do them and she has been gone now 6yrs.

Isaac eating his first Sour Cream cookie. Can you tell he likes food??? Just a bit.
