Isaac's 2nd Birthday

For every child's birthday I always let them get a balloon from Party City and of course Isaac is having an Elmo theme so that is what he wanted.

So along with the Elmo theme I made him his Elmo cake
and found these edible art letters and numbers at Party City.

Isaac sitting on his Birthday present from Nenee and Papa. I bought two stools when Jon and I bought the house and the children ALWAYS are fighting over them so he asked them for a stool.

Then it was time to blow out the candles

and he tried really hard but kept spitting, so I helped him and my brother got a little upset so we re lit the candle and he eventually blew it out.

Christmas Eve

Every year for as long as my memory allows me my grandma who we called Nanny would decorate sugar cookies and and make her famous sour cream cookies so I continue the tradition ever since she passed away in 2002. I made 90 sugar cookies and decorated them all (no elves helped here) and made 65 sour cream cookies to bring to my Auntie Julie's for our annual Christmas Eve get together. A good time was had by all but I forgot to get the camera out oops! We ate and talked and ate some more and then I was asked to sing a couple of songs. I sang O Holy Night and with my Auntie Pam we sang a duet of Silent Night and then she sang while her husband my Uncle Lance played the guitar while she sang Mary Did You Know. I twas a wonderful night and I can't wait until next year.

Taylor's final product.

And of course I had to get in on the action and make my own.
