Thanksgiving is a pretty beg deal in our family as such we reserve my Aunt's church building to accommodate all of us. The kitchen is right off the gym floor so we brought the kids scooters and Isaac's Nemo push bike. They had a blast!!! The cooking began and where was Isaac of course in the kitchen.
My beautiful sister Lindsay and my children's Auntie. Here is Isaac and Lindsay posing together.
Here is Jon and Jared hanging out, now some of you might say oh Jon looks in a bad mood nope that's how he looks the majority of the time.
Two of my most favorite people in the world. My Grandpa who raised me along with my Nanny who is in Heaven now and my Auntie Julie who I think of more like a sister.
We then got all of the boy cousins together we were only missing two my oldest brother Tyson who is prison and my cousin Cameron who is serving in the Pennsylvania Spanish speaking mission. L-R, Justin(brother), Chad(brother) and Cody and Chris my cousins.
Then of course all the girl cousins oldest to youngest. Whoo hoo look who is the oldest LOL!
L-R Me, my sis Lindsay and all the rest my cousins Stephanie, Jessica, Nicole, Allison and Ashley.
L-R Me, my sis Lindsay and all the rest my cousins Stephanie, Jessica, Nicole, Allison and Ashley.
And of course the Great Grand kids my nephew Kai,and our three kids Jared, Taylor and Isaac.
While we were taking pictures someone said to Taylor, "Pose Tay Tay pose." Silly girl loves any photo opportunity.
After the picture taking was over my three kids and my nephew Kai jumped on Jon and had a pig pile it was funny.
The last picture we took was of my Family. My Dad, Me, Justin, Chad and Lindsay. The only brother missing was Tyson and he is in prison but hopefully when he gets out he will see the light and return to the way in which he was brought up. Wickedness never was happiness. At this time of year I tend to reflect a little more on others than myself and all of the things I am grateful for. I am grateful that even though my brother is in the situation he is in that he has a warm place to lay his head, my family and especially my Husband Jon who makes me so happy and treats me with respect always, my three children and the light and joy which they bring into my life daily, my parents who raised me in the gospel and even though I fell away for awhile I always new the church was true and I am grateful for all of the good friends I have made in the church. Without the gospel in my life I would be wondering aimlessly through this world. So I guess the most important thing to be grateful for is the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the gift of life that he gave me.
