Tins's first bath at Home

Today my Mommy came over to celebrate Tinsley being 1 week old and to remember her Mom Evelyn Esther Tinsley. Today is her birthday and she passed away when my mom was a little girl. The last name is what we took to name our baby girl. She also brought cupcakes from New York Cupcakes for us all!!! sooo good :)
She also gave Tins her first bath in the kitchen sink, she wasnt to happy though.

Welcoming Tinsley Ellen Hunsaker

This pregnancy was a little hard on me with the lovely varicose veins, and my umbilical hernia etc.. and the 3 kids I already had to take care of. The greatest thing was being able to be pregnant as well as let this baby be a surprise. My friends threw me a baby shower on Thursday the 20th and I was having little contractions but nothing to write home about. On Friday the 21st again contractions all day but 15-20min apart but as the night progressed they were getting close ran closer together. So off to the hospital it was. We arrived at 12:00am Saturday morning the 22nd.
Here I am hooked up to my antibiotics that I have to take and smiling. First round of antibiotics were given at 12:30am and second round at 4am and 45 minutes later we had a baby...

girl born at 4:45am!!!! It was so much fun to have a surprise and I was able to see for myself and say its a girl :)
(Thanks Christina)

She weighed 6lbs 7oz and was 19" long with a thick black dark head of hair. For being three weeks early not to small.

The greatest thing ever was having my good friend Christina worked that weekend at the hospital and was Tinsley's nurse and gave her her first bath.

Family introductions

So later in the day on Saturday Jon brought the kids to meet the newest member of the family. This baby was a surprise so Jon didn't tell them what we had until they walked in the room and saw :)
Taylor walked in the room and said, "It's a girl!" and Jon's dad asked well how do you know? She said, "Because there are pink blankets and now it get to get bunk beds!!!! She is so excited to have a sister and get bunk beds.

MLK assembly

Jared had a Assembly at school for MLK day and the Kindergartners sang a song and it was so cute and of course Tay wanted to be in at least one picture.
