Ladies Night out Vol. 1

Thanks to my neighbor for getting us tickets and VIP access to the show! and to my Mom for coming to stay with the kids so the hubby and I could have a fun night together. The Showare Center in Kent was where the concert was. It was Shai, H-Town, Silk, Ginuwine and K-Ci and Jo Jo. Totally brought me back to high school with all the music.

Not a bad pic for being 7 1/2 months pregnant :)

Open wide and say.....AWWWWW

This kid cracks me up! It was time to take all the kids to the dentist and finally it was Isaac's turn. He hopped right up into the chair and was ready to go. Opened his mouth like a champ and was very agreeable to the hygentist. Now why can't he be that cooperative at home.

Thanksgiving 2010

Thanksgiving with the Great Grand kids showing there muscles. Every year we reserve my Auntie Julie's church building and cook the Thanksgiving meal and all the rest of the family brings sides, drinks, pies etc.....
My three babies!

The dinner table

All the grand children except for my oldest brother and my two cousins who are serving missions for our church.

My kids being introduced to UNO :)

and the most precious thing of all, my disabled Aunt who just loves babies and little ones
gazing into my youngest eyes and him giving her loves. It was a great day spending time with family.

Oooey Gooey Mess

Sooo we have 2 hamsters in two different cages and they normally sleep in the garage but since the temperatures have dipped below freezing lately the little critters joined us in the house. Yeah they joined us alright. I my youngest decided that one of them needed to eat marsh creme. We had a sticky gooey mess inside the cage plus he threw the spoon in as well and that does not make for a clean hamster. The poor thing had a sticky gooey mess all on her paws so Jon gave her a bath in the sink.

Oh and apparently I needed 4 spoons to eat with plus the one he gave to the hamster :) so that would be 5.

Precious Child of God

Every family has a special child and mine is my oldest. Words cannot even describe how much I love him. I have had a hard time lately with him and I have to remember that he is from our Heavenly Father sent to me and my husband to learn a lot from him. He is compassionate, kind, loving and has the greatest smile. I love his imagination and how he can take nothing and turn it into something. He loves school and loves to learn. He comes home every day to share something new he has learned. He really does brighten our home and I am glad he is my child. He was sent here to teach me to be more loving, kind, patient and more tolerant than I ever thought possible.
And I hope that I can continue to be the best Mother I can be to him.

Ocean Shores getaway with the Family

We borrowed a house from a lady we go to church with and took J out of school on Friday and left Thursday night to the beach for the weekend. We had a blast and even though the weather was cold, rainy and windy we still enjoyed ourselves. The kids where exploring the house just before this picture was taken they decided to play with boardgames which is fine but not when they open up ALL of them. Crazy kids (0:

On Friday morning we hiked down to the beach. We gave each kid a Ziploc bag and told them whatever seashells, rocks or sticks fit it in they can bring home.
The ocean was beautiful this morning with the waves crashing and rolling.
Lil man was to busy trying to dig in the cold wet sand then fill up his bag with shells.
Tay collecting her shells while daddy watches the waves rolling in.

Lots of driftwood that was really cool and had the kids

take there pictures by some. Aren't they cute!
and since I am the picture taker I had to take my self portrait (:

Later on in the day we took the kids to the go karts/bumper car place in town where of course being pregnant I wasn't allowed to drive these. Oh well that just meant hubs got to go around the "slick track" three separate times, once with each kid lucky!!!

The boys grooving while Tay was taking her turn.

After the fun and nap time we took the kiddos to the Quinalt Beach resort and casino for there all-you-can eat land and sea buffet. Mmmmm as we see J eating crab and more crab. Crazy kid (:

Oh don't we look cute!

On Saturday since it was POURING down rain we took the kids bowling and then out to pizza after wards. Jay and I. I love this kid!
Tay bowling for the first time and she had a good time.
Lil man grabbing his "pink" ball.
Jon trying to catch my best side as he says :0)
Lil man playing with the board and drum roll please the final score

as you can see I beat the hubs by 5 points!!!!!

All and all we had a really great time with the kids and being able to spend time together as a family before we add one more come February.
