Where does this boy get his imagination??? He has now moved from Indiana Jones to being a Jedi Knight. He even is making the sound of the light saber as it glides threw the air. He uses his belt to clip it on him. I wonder what else he has in store for me, only time will tell. I can just hear the Kindergarten teacher now "Mrs. Hunsaker we seem to have a problem with Jared", my reply "What would that be" the teacher "He thinks he is Zorro, Indiana Jones and a Jedi knight" my reply hmmm I see. Gotta love him

7 months
My baby boy is 7months old today!!! I can't believe it has been that long. Saturday morning I was sitting on the couch when he decided to sit up all by himself and he even got the motion going with crawling!!!! I couldn't believe my eyes all of a sudden he was just sitting up.
Today I had to take him to the doctor's office for his eczema and for fun they weighed him, OH BOY is all I can say 21lbs., which is insane because he weighed 19lbs 4oz on July 1st. I asked the doctor, "Can I feed him real food chicken, rice, yogurt etc..." well technically not until 9months but go ahead he is big enough. As you can see his face with sweet potatoes and chicken on them mmmm lip smackin good!!!!

Ocean Shores
The Beach was fun as you can see Taylor was sandy from head to toe!!! I would have took more pictures but by the time we got into town and drove onto the beach and set everything up the tide started coming in so the playing on the beach was cut a little short.
Isaac enjoying himself looking at my grandpa's dogs and staying out of the sand.
Jared turning away because my cousins were throwing sand on him and at him.
My nephew Kai excited because my cousins Cameron, Cody and Nicole buried him in the sand and he sure was having fun digging himself out,
and then Taylor got in on the action and wanted to be buried as well!!!! What a nut she is. By the time we got her out and changed her diaper it was great!!! I thoroughly enjoy changing fragrant diapers with sand in them :)
Next summer Jon and I have decided that we will actually camp down at the state park. Oh adventures to look forward to, because Jared will be 4 1/2, Taylor 3 and Isaac 1 1/2 next summer and I can't wait.

Hot Sauce
For those of you that know my husband and I love spicy foods, especially Dave's Hurtin' Habanero hot sauce mmmmmmmm!!! So we decided to buy a case of 12 to add to our food storage and by ordering it had a two fold mission...........
keeping Jared entertained with the bubble wrap that came out of the box. I tried to catch him in mid air but it didn't really work. I did catch him on the beginning
and the end. We will personally thank the Fed Ex man (thanks Adrian) for the entertainment with Hot sauce and Bubble wrap.

SUPER soakers
Jon my oldest kid. Last week when I was at work he took the kids to Fred Meyer's for a bike wheel and came home $$$$ with 3 huge super soakers!!!
Jared with his "Big Gun", as he calls it. Notice he put his shorts on backwards?? The kid was so excited to go outside and play with water guns.
Taylor holding the BIG super soaker, but the look on her face is priceless. "Don't squirt me"!!! She wouldn't let anyone get her wet but she sure wanted to hold it. It's almost as big as her
The summer has been entertaining so far. We will see what more adventures come up. :)
"As Seen on TV " Perfect- Pushup
We went to one of our favorite stores yesterday Costco to buy the essentials cheese, crackers, Dino nuggets etc.... and the perfect-push up. My husband has been eyeing these for awhile because it really hurts his wrists to do regular ones. He got them out of the box and I come into the living room and Taylor decided to try them out first and then Jared wanted a turn next. Crazy kids!!! At least they are trying to exercise.

The RoadHouse Grill
My Father-in-law loves this restaurant and the end of it will be Sunday night, They are closing their doors :( not enough business because all of the other restaurants are by the Mall. The reason we call it peanuts is they give you buckets o' peanuts at each table and when you take them out of the shells you get to throw them all over the floor. We have always liked to go there because good food, seeing family and the kids love to make a mess ( hence why we go there). The kids always say "Let's go to peanuts"!!!. I guess we will have to find somewhere else to go, Old Country Buffet anyone????

5 Mile Lake
Jon and Isaac
Taylor on the Nemo bike
The ward had a BBQ at 5 Mile Lake and it was fun. The kids brought there bikes to ride in the parade and they wore there aprons and handkerchiefs but only Jared participated, Taylor was to busy trying to keep everyone away from her Nemo bike. They also had a watermelon eating contest, which Jon decided to do. I couldn't seem to get Jared to stay in one place for a picture. All and all it was a fun time to hang out with our ward and it is really great because we have so many young couples with young kids and it was nice to see people we haven't seen in a while

Isaac's Tricks
The Beginning

The End
My littlest one has decided to do lots of tricks. He starts out on his hands and knees and rocks back and forth and then hops like he's a bunny and then leaps into London bridges. It is funny to watch and then he goes into his Pilate's moves(as you can see). It amazes me each day watching my children grow up right before my eyes. I love to see the excitement on their face when they learn something new. Kids are a blessing and a joy to have around and I am so thankful to my Heavenly Father who saw me fit to be a mother, what a great responsibility I have. I am up for the challenge because it always won't be this easy not that it is easy but easier when they are younger. As I say to Jared and Taylor sometimes, "Can I keep you little Forever?" I wish I could.

Training Wheels
Jon helping Jared
I love our neighborhood!!! Whenever the older kids grow out of toys, bikes, books etc... they send them our way. Our next door neighbors Les & Lynn have a son Robbie who is 10yrs old. He has outgrown some of his bikes so his dad told Jared," If you learn how to ride your bike without training wheels I will give you one of Robbie's old bikes". Oh boy Jared was so excited that last night he had Jon take off his training wheels because he wanted to learn. It was too cute he actually rode all the way down our street and then he decided he was a little scared so he wanted them back on. Oh well there will be other days to learn.

Rub a Dub Dub Dub 3 cousins in the tub
My Mom Sheryl and Isaac
Jared, Kai and Taylor
Yesterday my Mom and Step dad came over for dinner and they brought with them my Nephew Kai my brothers son. My kids were so excited to see there cousin. They ran around the house played with toys. After we ate I fed all of them my new dessert recipe from Weight Watchers Raspberry-Blueberry Cheesecake Pie MMMMMM!!! It turned out really good only 5pts a slice. When those festivities were over my Mom decided to give all her grandkids a bath (minus Isaac, he can't sit in the bath by himself yet) crazy woman bathing the kids!!!! as I like to call her the crack smoker ha ha ha LOL Love ya Mom I also took a picture of Issac with my Mom (notice how tired he looks) he has swollen gums, cough, runny nose the usual symptoms of teething. The greatest part was that I actually took a picture of my mother without her eyes closed whoo hoo!!!!! a momentous occasion.

4th of July
Jon holding Isaac in his festive outfit
Kids and some parents in the neighborhood
Big brother protecting his sister from the fireworks
Every year our neighbors buy TONS of fireworks and put on a show for us ( yeah yeah I know they are illegal to set off) but the are pretty to watch we get to visit with our neighbors and the kids get to play with the other kids. The night started off pretty well, no one got hurt and all of the kids ran around having fun. This was Isaac's first 4th of July and he loved watching the fireworks in the sky. It is amazing when they really start to be aware of what is going on around them. Taylor was a little scared hence why Jared is holding her. He kept telling her "It's okay Taylor I will hold you", kids are too cute!!!!! By the time we got the street cleaned up from the show it was 11:30pm and needless to say it was way past bedtime. By the time we got them in the house to go to sleep it was close to midnight aarrgghhhh because that meant Jared would be up at the crack of dawn. ( ok it was 7:30am close enough)

Fishing Adventure Part 2
Jared fell asleep after a hard fishing day
My Grandpa and JaredOn Thursday Jon, Jared and my Grandpa (who is Jared's Great Grandpa) went fishing at American Lake in Tacoma. The fish were not biting to much but then all of a sudden my grandpa caught a fish and it is so small that you can't even see it in the picture. This time instead of Jared wearing his shoes we made him wear his boots so if he did go into the water it wouldn't be that bad with the boots on. My Grandpa as Jared calls him "Grandpa Bob" said that Jared kept scouring the shore looking for treasures (mainly sticks) and then found a orange and black rope and of course it came home with him.( oh yeah one more toy for me to pick up). All and all they had a good day and Jared was so tired he fell asleep on the way home.
