Nothing
I has been a year since I have written anything. My baby girl has grown up and I feel like like I have been in a fog since I had her (she will be two in January). This past year has been trying, overwhelming and frustrating. I have so many thoughts in my head I don't even nowhere to begin. I am not writing this to get sympathy from people, I am writing because this is my journal and I want to capture anything and everything. The good the bad and the ugly. I managed to lose the weight after having Tinsley and managed to run two races this past summer. I ran The Rainer to Ruston (50 mile relay race) with five other girls and the Sound to Narrows. I was in pretty good shape. Now I just don't care. I stopped counting calories and have just been on an eat-a-thon. I'm still running and exercising but other then that don't care. I'm in a funk and YES there are bigger things to be worrying about and others have bigger things that have happened to them this year but for me it is what it is. I feel like I can't even function and I get up everyday only because I have to. Isaac has preschool five days a week which is great its free through our school district. The only downfall is that it is a 15-20 minute drive EACH direction. Which means my day pretty much is SHOT! I leave the house at 12:30pm and then turn back around and go home. I don't do well with change, I don't do well with having interruptions and I don't like having a schedule of what days to do this etc..I want to be able to do what I want to do when I want to do it. I am so scattered brained lately I cannot even get out a complete thought (hence why this is all jumbled) I can't even sit down and read a book. I'm fidgety and feel panicky A LOT and can't focus!! I feel like Alice in Wonderland falling down the rabbit hole and spiraling out of control...to be continued

Tinsleys first Birthday
I can't believe my lil nugget turned 1!! How time flies! This day is a very special day. My grandmothers birthday is today as well and she would have been 75. She passed away 9 years ago (this coming April) and her favorite was lemon meringue pie. I decided to make a yellow themed party and make lemon meringue pie cupcakes. It was so cute watching her eat her cake. Can't wait for what this year has in store for her.

Jared's WWE wrestling bday/Chuck E Cheese
I love my son how he comes up with ideas or themes for his party and then he tells me and well I deliver. He wanted a wrestling cake and this is what I came up with.
I used pull apart licorice for the ropes the attached them with straws and made my own fondant which i colored gray and then used food coloring markers for the logo.
Jared REALLY wanted to go to Chuck E Cheese so he invited his cousin Kai and his friend Logan and they had a BLAST as well Isaac and Taylor.
The boys holding up there winnings.
When we arrived home Jared decided he NEEDED all of the rumblers on his cake.
And the birthday boy blowing out his candles.

First day of School; Kindergarten and 1st Grade
I can't believe I sent my first baby girl to Kindergarten this week!!!
And my BIG first grader.
Logan, Jared and Taylor waiting for the bus.
Taylor waiting in the bus line at school.
She found her name on her desk what a HAPPY girl.
Learning to line up.
She wanted to be a BIG girl on the first day so she rode the bus with her brother and I met her there. She was so cute in her classroom. So excited to start school. They went to school for not even two weeks and then the teachers went on strike. I understood both sides but at the same point there are so many people struggling to make ends meet and these teachers have a job.
They were out for 9 days I think. And the children kept asking me why the teachers broke the law? Tough questions and tough answers.

The "exciting" trip home
This caused
this
As we were approaching Ellensburg coming down the hill out of Yakima we heard this loud loud sound. We pulled over to the side of the road ( mind you its dark and 9:30pm) Jon checked our tires and didn't seem to find anything wrong but as we drove we knew that something was wrong. Luckily we hadn't passed the exit yet. Called around to some hotels and decided the Hampton Inn was good. The kids were cranky and tired especially baby. All three older kids slept in the BIG king bed and baby in a pack and play. They were so excited for the next morning with complimentary breakfast.
Long story short our Mini Van requires Run Flat tires we couldn't get them at one tire place so e had to call an old friend of ours pay over the phone for them while my step dad went and picked them up at the Issaquah store and drove them all the way to Ellenburg for us. I have a LOT to be thankful for in my life and today I was grateful that we had run flat tires because had we been going 70mph in regular tires we may have rolled the van and the kindness of my step dad who on a busy work day took the time out to help us.
