My possible New adventure???

Okay so here I go. I love to cook, bake, decorate etc... and be creative with baking. For every major holiday I bake my Famous sugar cookies which is my Nanny's recipe. I always make them to take to my husbands work and I decorate them and all that fun good stuff. Well a co worker of my husbands asked him if I would be interested in making cookies for her daughters wedding. I said sure why not I was getting paid to do this. Her daughter originally wanted to hand out real horseshoes. I made 200 cookies frosted them and then decorated them with silver dragees. They turned out so cute and I couldn't have gotten it done in time unless two friends from church volunteered to stay up until 2 am in the morning to get these finished. To those two individuals you are ANGELS!!!

This year the 4th of July turned out to be a pretty decent day. Nice not to warm of weather and NO RAIN!!! While Jon and I were doing stuff in the house we put Tin in her Bumbo and next thing we know she wasn't fussing. Okay didn't think to much of it but we walked in the front room and she was asleep like this. It was so precious because it looks like she is praying :)

WHY??!!??

There are days like today that make me question why in the first place I wanted to become a mother. I'm really no good at it because if I was then they would listen to me and they don't. I have been really struggling with my whole existence lately and what my "purpose" truly is. I really don't think God intended me to constantly yell and argue and fight with my children. So why did he see fit to send me these children, yes I know it takes two to decide to have them but I really don't know. I try to read my scriptures and pray but I'm lucky if I am even able to get a shower in most days. People who choose not to be mothers and have careers in some ways I envy them and in other ways I don't. Being a parent is by far the HARDEST thing I have ever done and if this is my final I am failing miserably.

CupCakes mmmmmmm!!!

My cousin returned home off of serving his mission in the Pennsylvania Spanish speaking and my we had a potluck at here house so I was inspired to make a cinnamon chocolate cupcake with a Dulce De Leche frosting with a cinnamon and sugar tortilla drizzled with caramel. It was super good and have been having a blast making new things. So here's to baking
