The weekend before Halloween my husbands parents had there annual Trunk-or-Treat so we took the children. Taylor was the "New" Tinkerbell and the Lost forest, Isaac was a pirate Rrrrrr matey!! and Jared decided once again to be Buzz Lightyear even though he was Buzz Lightyear in
2006. The costume that keeps on giving. He actually picked out an Optimus Prime Transformers costume at Costco but decided that Buzz was better. Jon took it back and Jared freaked out so he had to bribe him with a bag of pita chips.
We never actually made it to a pumpkin patch this year so we decided to take them to our local produce market by our house and let them each pick one out. They also helped me decorate the front porch for Halloween. October 1st is when the decorations go up. I don't know who gets more excited me or the kids.
Another shot of the porch and Isaac looking down to make sure he sat on his pumpkin.
Halloween landed on a Saturday this year which is always cool and our ward party and Trunk-or-Treat. Isaac was getting in on all the action doing the bean bag toss.
Jared following after.
Jared and Isaac doing the cake walk.
Taylor eyeing the goodies on the table
and then enjoying her prize for landing on the winning number.
All night we kept looking for Jared and he was at the fishing station. I think he stayed there most of the night
and Isaac showing me what he received from fishing.
The Halloween picture I get every year of them.
After our ward party was over we went Trick-or-Treating in our friend Scott and Ashley's neighborhood with them and the kids were having a blast.
My Mom came out and brought my nephew Kai who was Harry Potter. Jared was so excited to see his cousin. The night went pretty well considering that my friends daughter we lost her for a little bit but found her back at her home because she was cold and wanted to go in. It was a cold night and the kids came away with lots and lots of candy. Now if Mommy and Daddy can stay away from it.
