Jon was on vacation this week so we decided to take the kids to the zoo. We also decided that since it was going to a little bit of money to fork out that we might as well get the pass to go all year and we can also take three additional people with us. Jared and Taylor having a photo op sitting on the bear? I think in front of the entrance to the zoo.

Trying to get all three kids to look at me was a task they were more interested with other things.

Barely looking at me oh well.

When we signed up for the zoo membership they gave us "Budgie" coupons. The Budgies have landed is there slogan. The coupons were for four sticks that had
birdseed on them and you hold the out and they actually land on the sticks.

The kids were to nervous to put there hands in the air so they put them on the ledge to feed them.

I love this picture of Taylor showing Isaac the sharks as they were swimming by.

This picture is of the white fox all the way in the back (sorry cell phone cameras don't have zoom my real camera gave up the ghost)

The Polar Bears with the seagull hanging out with them

and the seagull again upstaging the Polar Bear.

Isaac standing on the ledge looking at sea otters or not.

Towards the end of our loop at the zoo this peacock was hanging out by the bathrooms so what the heck i took the picture. They really are a beautiful animal.

These are
mearcats or really I just think they look like
prairie dogs but Isaac wanted to keep hugging the glass they were super cute and they looked cuddly.

Taylor was excited to pet the goats but it was grooming time so she groomed them.

Taylor after the goats was playing on the toys and I snapped this from below. The kids had a blast and all but one child fell asleep on the way home. We were so hungry from being at the zoo all day that we decided to go get fish and shrimp to grill on the barbie in honor of the sea creatures we were able to look at. Jon found this pretty good recipe for a marinade for the fish and it involved white wine in the recipe I won't tell the story because it is quite lengthy but needless to say Jon went to
QFC and was carded if you want to know the rest just ask me. The fish turned out fantastic. We had Tuna steaks and
Swai both were delicious. It was nice to have home from work and I know the kids enjoyed the day too.
