Ocean Shores getaway with the Family

We borrowed a house from a lady we go to church with and took J out of school on Friday and left Thursday night to the beach for the weekend. We had a blast and even though the weather was cold, rainy and windy we still enjoyed ourselves. The kids where exploring the house just before this picture was taken they decided to play with boardgames which is fine but not when they open up ALL of them. Crazy kids (0:

On Friday morning we hiked down to the beach. We gave each kid a Ziploc bag and told them whatever seashells, rocks or sticks fit it in they can bring home.
The ocean was beautiful this morning with the waves crashing and rolling.
Lil man was to busy trying to dig in the cold wet sand then fill up his bag with shells.
Tay collecting her shells while daddy watches the waves rolling in.

Lots of driftwood that was really cool and had the kids

take there pictures by some. Aren't they cute!
and since I am the picture taker I had to take my self portrait (:

Later on in the day we took the kids to the go karts/bumper car place in town where of course being pregnant I wasn't allowed to drive these. Oh well that just meant hubs got to go around the "slick track" three separate times, once with each kid lucky!!!

The boys grooving while Tay was taking her turn.

After the fun and nap time we took the kiddos to the Quinalt Beach resort and casino for there all-you-can eat land and sea buffet. Mmmmm as we see J eating crab and more crab. Crazy kid (:

Oh don't we look cute!

On Saturday since it was POURING down rain we took the kids bowling and then out to pizza after wards. Jay and I. I love this kid!
Tay bowling for the first time and she had a good time.
Lil man grabbing his "pink" ball.
Jon trying to catch my best side as he says :0)
Lil man playing with the board and drum roll please the final score

as you can see I beat the hubs by 5 points!!!!!

All and all we had a really great time with the kids and being able to spend time together as a family before we add one more come February.

Tay's Preschool filed trip to Maris Farms

My daughter Tay had her first field trip for preschool and my lil man came with us too. I told them both to stand next to the farm sign but my daughter with attitude was like, "NO!" so lil man cooperated.
We then went passed the "How tall this Fall" sign and even though they are 18months apart they aren't far off in height with one another.

The whole class.

They had a lot of things for the kids to do one of them was the tractors to pedal and they had fun.

The wet slide Tay went down and the

the cow ride which Lil man wanted nothing to do with and kept running away when I tried to put him in but Tay was having fun though.

They also had the corn pit. They jumped in it and rolled in it and where so dirty when they got out with corn dust.

The hay ride around the farm and then we went to the maze and walked through to the end to pick out our pumpkins. We received 3 small pumpkins and had a really good time together even though it was butt cold Brrrrrrrrrr!!!

My ughh...30 something Birthday

For my birthday I was dyeing to go to Bucca Di Beppo's. It is an Italian Restaurant that serves everything Family style. So we went with my Mom and Step Dad and they brought my nephew K. Here is my Mom with my lil man and Tay.

J and K playing with my Mom's Ipad.

Ahhhh look at the cute couple

The place mats on the table advertising certain things they do each month.
The restaurant has themes in each room where you are seated and our room was the Frank Sinatra theme.

Of course we had to get a dessert and why not this HUMONGOUS thing!!

There were naked statues and pictures all over and all of the kids were enamored over the peeing boy statue between the bathrooms.

And when we left the joint of course the naked woman statute with my Step dad putting his arm around her as my nephew is touching her arm.

We had another picture taken with the statue but my husband said I COULD NOT post it so if you want to know ask him :) We had a great night and I Would go back again.
