I made Birthday cupcakes and made Jared his own BIG cupcake.

After everybody left Jon decided to entertain the children with his recorder skills. Jared's great grandpa which he calls Papa Bob gave him a recorder(Thanks Papa we love you). Isaac was very intrigued by the whole thing, Taylor watching intently and Jared of course doing his own thing as usual.
In years past I always done BIG family birthday parties for the First and Second birthdays and the rest I have the Grandparents and Siblings over for dinner and now my new tradition homemade from scratch cupcakes. I think Jared liked them but he kept wanting a little one. He also today had his 4 year checkup at the Doctors yeah Mom is not to bright scheduling his checkup on his birthday, because they gave him 4 shots Owe. He cried and screamed and wasn't happy about being held down. They also wanted him to pee in a cup. Ha yeah right he will pee outside without any qualms but in a cup nope, he wasn't going for it. He is 41" tall though and weighed 38lbs. Along way from his start of 6lbs 4oz. We love you Jared Happy 4Th Birthday!!!!!!!!
